Is there anyone in the San Diego area that knows of a support group for Aspie adults? There seem to be several for children; however, chronologically I no longer fit in ~that~ category.

Hi, Nan. Welcome.

Have you tried contacting the San Diago Autism Society?

http://www.sd-autism.org/home/index.htm

Their programs do seem mostly for children but they seem to have one with Kaiser for adults. Even if that doesn't work for you, they might be able to refer you to another local sorce.

Again, welcome.

Hi, thanks, I did. They didn't know of any. Kaiser is only for members of the Kaiser HMO.

Anybody out there in San Diego County?

I don't know if this helps, but I found the following link with other people looking for the same thing:

http://aspergers.meetup.com/lists/us/ca/san_diego/

Some are parents with kids who are aspies, others are people who have it.
