Hey. well I'm 18 and have always loved reading up on anything having to do with psychology/ the human mind. it wasn't until recently I started reading about aspergers and noticed to a rather startling degree how i match almost all the criteria and after reading this website and the forums i'm convinced on the issue. well just wanted to say hey and that its nice to finally put a name to something that i always felt was there.

Next step? Well I still have a few credits to earn in high school so after another semester hopefully ill be off to college but seeing as how I'm technicaly in 13th grade not sure how successful that runs gonna be. a girlfriend? *sigh* well one thing at a time right? also I'm not really sure how getting formally diagnosed would happen for me or if i think its necessary. since this does seem the place to ask. for anyone who has been formally diagnosed, Is it worth it? (live in the U.S. btw) not sure if that would be of importance but thought it should be added)
