Hi everyone. I am a new member and just I would intoduce myself to the site. I want meet likeminded people to begin to chat with so that I understand my illness better.

Welcome to WrongPlanet Buddy1, I would refrain from calling it an illness. I have my personal opinions and other people have their own. You will find a lot of discussion about autism and aspergers here.
In my personal experience, people with high functioning autism are able to get along better together than they do with NT's (neurotypicals)
Because of this I do not call it an illness, I call it a different way of thinking. (IMO a better way of thinking.)

(keep an eye out for the whole cure/anti-cure movements going on. They are quite heated IMO)
