Hello, my name is Robert. I'm 28 years old, and I have Asperger's Syndrome. I'm self-diagnosed, and my wife, who is a special education teacher, has also agreed that I am well within the spectrum.

I recently finished reading Asperger's from the Inside Out, by Michael John Carley. By doing so, I realized that many of the behaviors that I have exhibited my whole life had a reason. I am now doing more research and learning more about AS and how I can cope and even thrive.

I also hope to interact with others like me, and maybe to even find some local groups to meet up with.

Well, AS isn't the end of the world, and indeed it is sometimes possible to thrive. It depends what you want in life, I guess...

Thanks for all the greetings.

I will probably spend most of my time in the IRC chatroom and on the computer and technology forums. I'm a technician, and hope to be able to help out people with tech stuff.
