Hi there ! Not sure if I'm jumping the gun by joining the forum but I'll tell you my background and let you decide for yourself 
I'm Mum to an amazing wee guy called Jamie who will be 4 in March. I've had my suspicions for the last 18 months or so that Jamie had Aspergers but a couple of weeks ago I was called into the nursery where the staff there shared my concerns. We've now completed a SLT referral and are impatiently waiting an appointment.
The Mum in me is devastated but the sensible side of me is relieved that someone else has noticed all the things I've been seeing for so long and hopefully Jamie will soon be getting the additional support he needs.

Been a busy week and I still haven't had a chance to check out links and we've a bust weekend ahead but I will get there...lol
Maybe not the best place for posting this but can anyone recommend a quiet set of hair clippers ? Jamie has a complete meltdown when I try to cut his hair, it was this that prompted me to join here the other night as he was so distressed after getting his hair cut
