She's right litigious... it may be easy to have a guy attracted to you at first, but as soon as he realizes how weird and difficult we are, they run for the exit.

Not to get another thread off topic with litigious...

I've had that trouble with girlfriends. I make it worse by being so good at covering up my anxiety - I manage to 'fake' for ages while everything builds up inside, and I wear myself out trying to be an ideal partner, and then eventually I just burn out and either retreat into my shell (which is seen as "rejection") or I have a full-blown breakdown :(

The shock of the latter is way too much for an NT to handle. It's outwardly so dramatic that I wondered whether I was bi-polar for a while, but I don't think so now. I wish I was better at talking about small problems while they are still small problems.

Amazing!

If you took Schwa's eyes and sideburns, and put them on Brad Pitt's body, the result would look nothing like me!

Hi. I'm Lydia, self-dx Aspie. I'm a singer/songwriter and webmistress who loves to be barefoot. The only difference between what you see below and the usual is that I tend to drink either white wine or Coca Cola, but if I drink beer it's generally a Bud.
