The town i live in is not on the map. If it was i would add myself.

You can ask them to add your town.

Or... for the time being, you can always just give a nearby town.

I got them to add my town. It is now on the database, and if I select it, it shows me there. Unfortunately, if I leave and come back, it doesn't remember it properly, and moves me to London, which is a hundred miles away.

So... I left myself shown as in "Wincanton", which is rather a lot closer!

They may have fixed it by now. I might try again to put me where I am!

PS. I changed me, and I seem to have succeed in being where I am.
