Howdy.

I'm 34, west suburban Chicago, and I've started to wonder a lot in the past year whether I belong on the spectrum, and if so, where. The recent NY Times article about "Navigating Love and Autism" is what led me here, as I've suspected for a while that I have some form of mindblindness (e.g., I can't tell the difference between good acting and bad acting).

I have a lousy office job I hate and a podcast about movies I love.

I would really, really appreciate some referrals for a doctor I can see to get diagnosed.

That's about all. I don't tend to volunteer much information, but I'll answer just about any question.
