Actually DSM 4 criteria for Asperger does not say you should have every single simptom either. It says you should have at least 2 out of 4 ''social skills'' issues they listed and at least 1 out of 4 ''special interests'' (see
http://www.autreat.com/dsm4-aspergers.html ). That would amount to less than half of what they listed; so if you had ''most'' of it, as you put it, it would be ''even more than enough'' to get Asperger diagnosis.
Or are you saying you do have the right number of symptoms from I and II but you miss some of the ''qualifying'' criterias III-VI? If so, which of the III-VI criterias on the link above are you missing?
Or are you refering to some other criteria when you were implying you needed to have every single simptom? Do you have a link to it?
