I've known about this site ever since 2006 and have tried to join on numerous occasions, but glitches kept preventing me from ever receiving a confirmation email. However, today I finally managed to get one, so here I am!

In case you were wondering, "Alan Smithee" is actually an old alias that a director would use if he was ashamed of his movie and didn't want his real name in the credits.

A bit of self-depreciating humor on my part....
