I wonder if mine is too. I can't tell from listening to myself. Although your voice sounded fine to me.

I have been watching many of these videos. Its so neat to meet all of you and to hear and see others with Aspergers.

Hi Ghosty (((HUGS))) Im Aspiegirl, neat to find you here.

Doesn't sound all that monotone to me but then my son has Asperger Syndrome and my husband has a lot of aspie traits too. I've noticed that my favorite actors, though, all have these really AMAZING facial expressions and I have a theory that it's because my husband and son tend to be kind of limited in that respect. Notice I mention actors here? Well, I'm not completely without my share of asperger traits and one of them is that I always seem to have one obsession or another and it's usually some actor or celebrity and I've been that way for as long as I can remember. Anyway, now I'm going on and on. Guess I should set up my webcam and do a little vid.

Alex: My favorite cereal is Grape Nuts because of the crunch. My second favorite is Cocoa Puffs.

Anbuend: I LOVE slinkies and have been known to spend hours staring at them just as you did in the video. They are fascinating!

AssBurgerWithCheese: What algorithms do you use? Do you use the Friedrich method? I have a lot of my Rubik's videos here: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=dexkaden

(Also, the solve I spliced up was 74.16 seconds.)

Wow, that was a cool video Dexkaden. I wish I knew more about economics. You'd think I would having attended the London school of Economics, but I was doing a masters in social psych. I got very little economics except for a course called Social Psychology of Economic Life. LSE has a lot of really COOL masters degree programs and they don't require GRE tests because that's an American thing and not a brit thing. They go more by ability and actual accomplishment rather than tests. Which really helped me since I'm lousy at those horrible, long standardized tests.

I've done a lot of what I call "Autism Awareness" videos.

Some don't see the value in them, as they are silly.

One of my obsessions is responding to the LonelyGirl-15 Internet series via videos.

I haven't made a video of just me, straight on looking at the camera, introducing myself, though.

I wondered if I should post just one video like that, or try to upload my whole "slew."

Come to think of it, that would be stupid.

I guess I should have pushed "new topic" instead of "response."

Still, I really liked that last video. KEWL.

Okay, I overcame my reservations and posted a YouTube video Saturday afternoon. I look green in it and the sound is out of sync but intelligible. I guess that's all you can expect from a $50 camera.... (Actually, I didn't think to adjust the white balance before recording. But I don't know how to fix the sound.) I wonder if anybody older than me will post one. I just turned 67 a week ago and I really don't understand it, as I've felt roughly like 30 for the past twenty years or so.... But a lot of people are surprised by aging. I found some good quotations on the subject recently.

Most people seem to be dismayed when they first hear their recorded voice. I got used to mine long, long ago and actually like it now. Which is more than I can say for my recorded guitar playing. I quit playing for several days after hearing one recording I made.
