A strange post, but I do not like the whole newbie/oldbie thing. Far too cliched... but I have to admit, I don't agree it is just 'NTs' that can cause depression etc. That can be equally caused by other Aspies in my experience...and likewise, I am sure many NTs can attest to having been caused harm by aspies, given our tendency to speak without realising we are causing offence at times...guilty of that myself, although I could not understand why it upset her really.

Anyway... I don't smell a rat (what does a rat smell like anyway? :lol: ), just someone who is glad to be among other aspies and has had bad experiences with non aspie people?

My issue with this idea is that it assigns blame. Each individual must take responsibility for improving their own feelings. This is the first step forward. Blaming others is standing still.

A rat? a troll? no, no, I say what I say because after brousing the forums I am seeing WAY too many people asking for help, and genereally being distressed. I must admit, I am biased after some particualty nasty experiances with NT's. However, i'm sure this is not a problem i alone share, I thought it would be best if a newbie spoke to other newbies, I thought that would cause some form of trust to form.

naturally, however, it seems I have been undone by my own social inneppittude, even amongest fellow Aspies.

Shame.

MrMark: I am quite sure that Aspergic and Autistic people are given greif by NT's, seeing as how this is an (somewhat big) issue in my life, I thought it'd be best to leave a note. I hold no grudees agaisnt people who have done me wrong, but I did not start it, at least on my level. If they fail to understand me, as my failing excitment on finding this forum tels me, then you will too.

Screw it everyone! Wintermute's behavior may have been wierd, that doesn't mean he's a troll! Next time get evidence before you go and accuse someone! This is just like those [censored] idiots in the United States government!

Wintermute, i apologize if you feel like you're being osstracized on baseless assumptions. We've been having recurring problems with post trolls, and that has everyone on edge. Not that that is an excuse *evil look at others*, jsut an explanation as to why everyone has been acting so irrationally.

I formally demand apologies from everyone present.
