Hello. I am Eli Danto. I am a Freshman in College, and I enjoy gaming (Mario, Sonic, and Pokemon GO RESHIRAM), I like to travel with my family, and also have a ton of random interests, some you could call me the weirdest person on the planet! However, I am not very good at making friends, and the people I know on Facebook rarely like my posts. I have lived a very sheltered life where I was not exposed to the world as much as I should have been, and I have never been out on and am super afraid to ask a girl out on a date. Thank you.

Hi Eli, welcome to the forum. I'm brand-new here myself and this is my first post apart from introducing myself!

I just want to reassure you about the dates thing and don't worry too much. My first girlfriend at age 19 is now my wife. I've never asked anyone out for a date in my life :)

Things often come along when you're not actually looking for it. I think an Aspie could probably survive very well indeed in their own world with little interaction, going to college, getting a job and finding somewhere to live, going home to their niche interests. But if things turn out unexpectedly and you meet someone then that's also extremely wonderful!

I'm sure you will find absolutely loads of people on here in the same predicament of you and with the same interests who will understand you much better than many in the un-virtual world. Good luck!
