Why are you here? Because I know nobody with Autism/Asperger and I really want to know if my way of thought is normal(for people with Asperger)

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): Around 2 years old doctors said I was autistic(strongly) but as I aged it got milder and now it is Aspergers

Favorite subjects: Foreign languages, history, geography, and english

Year/Grade: just finished freshman year of college

Books: anything on religion or philosophy, historical novels, and just any good literature

Hobbies and Interests: Cats, writing, Broadway shows, D&D, card games, tarot, & Wicca.

Why are you here? I wanted to have some communication, and perhaps guidance, from other people who have Aspergers, because I feel so alone.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): August, 2000.

Favorite subjects: English, American History, British Lit.

Year/Grade: 3.5 years of college before I had to drop out from health reasons.

Favorite music: Currently "Wicked."

Books: The Fairy Queen is my ultimate favorite. I also love Camille Paglia and Arianna Huffington.

TV shows/Movies: Judge Judy, Murder, she wrote, & Golden girls. Jaws and its sequels. I just love them.

Why are you here? I don't really know.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): Still waiting but after researching the subject and my sister getting a diagnosis it's pretty obvious to me. When it was first suggested to me by my mother I was aggressively opposed to the idea, now it is self evident. The NHS early intervention team certainly think so too but they only deal with psychosis so can not offer me any help. I am on a waiting list to see a psychiatrist.

Favourite subjects: Science

Year/Grade: I failed due to truancy and alcohol misuse

Favourite music: No favourite genre, i listen to anything from motown and ska to black metal and classical

Books: Non fiction, mostly science, philosophy and psychology.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): No official diagnosis and not sure I will get one, still thinking about whether I need someone to tell me what I already know. Friend who researches AS told me I have AS a year ago and after reading a lot about it I agree with her. My partner said this to me many years ago too. Family and friends also agree.

Favorite subjects: Mathematics, Literature, Economics

Year/Grade: BCom/BEco (Hons) completed in 2007

Favorite music: No particular favourite genre. Like Tool, Tori Amos, Hallucinogen, Peaches, Rammstein, The Prodigy

Year/Grade: Just finished my first year of my master's degree in English and Film Studies
