I really hate tattoos and I think no matter what, they look terrible. It bothers me that they have become fashionable in recent years and now just about every second person you see has one and they feel compelled to show them off in public by how they wear their clothing. I honestly see zero value in them and consider it defacement of one's body.

Hate to piss on your parade guys, but that's my opinion of it all. Carry on ;)

Hello,

Opinions are like @ssholes,

Everyone has one and they all stink.

That is just my opinion about the haters above.

crazed chef, you asked how to get photos in a place where you could share them here.

www.photobucket.com

go there and make an account for yourself. you install nothing on your computer, but do maintain an account on the site with a username and password just like you have a username and password here on WP.
you can then create folders in your allotted space and upload pictures to your folders.

from there you will have the ability to share links to your photos, just as i shared the links to my photos.

it is really simple.

then don't get one.

my tattoos are not decorative in nature, they are spiritual.
each one was a ritualized part of a grieving process.

I'm not as hot on tattoos as most people of my age group. But I'm glad I had one (and one is all I want) so at least some day I'll be able to look at it and remember that to an extent I did try to participate in in pop culture or whatever.

One thing I can say I truly don't like is piercings. I've don't really the appeal of having metal sticking out of your body in various places. Last year I ventured to get an eyebrow pierced and I took it out a couple months later, and because I toss and turn in my sleep it left a scar that is still very noticable.

That's different then. Most people just get 'ink' because it's the fashion. Most tattoo 'art' isn't.

Hi,

I have no idea how to pull pictures off of my hard drive and upload them.

Please help!

Explain it like you would to a three year old, I know a little bit about computers, but the first time I try something new it takes time and I have to go step by step.

Thanks for your help.

Eh...no offense or anything, but this thread is about tattoos. 8O

I'm getting one as soon as I can get to a tattoo parlor. (I don't drive... so I have to wait until I can get a ride). I'm getting SPQR on my back... as a tribute to the Romans of Old I so love...

Yeah, I totally agree with you. Tattoos are dumb, I don't know what makes them so attractive/ popular for some people.
Don't be mean to RedMage for having an opinion.

Hope the snap isn't too big.

It's ai, the chinese word for love. I've been told the writing looks a bit sloppy, but obviously they knew what it was, so it caint be that bad. I got it because mum, Meg and I all had these necklace charms right after my parents split. Mine was love, Meg's was honour, and Mum's was devotion. So one day we all went down and got the tats.

I'm not sure if I'd get another one, but I do like it, so it wasn't a complete waste.

FYI: Its on the inside of my left wrist, and yes, the snap is horribly blurry. Crappy camera.

And apparently it's sideways.
