Yeah, I totally agree with you. Tattoos are dumb, I don't know what makes them so attractive/ popular for some people.
Don't be mean to RedMage for having an opinion.

Hope the snap isn't too big.

It's ai, the chinese word for love. I've been told the writing looks a bit sloppy, but obviously they knew what it was, so it caint be that bad. I got it because mum, Meg and I all had these necklace charms right after my parents split. Mine was love, Meg's was honour, and Mum's was devotion. So one day we all went down and got the tats.

I'm not sure if I'd get another one, but I do like it, so it wasn't a complete waste.

FYI: Its on the inside of my left wrist, and yes, the snap is horribly blurry. Crappy camera.

And apparently it's sideways.

I am afraid to get one because of the hepatitis risk posed by unsterilized needles.

I used to want a smiley face tattoo on my right hand. Not anymore though.

reputable tattooists always used brand new needles.

This is RedMage's opinion! I'm not saying you have to agree with it, I'm just saying the rest of you don't have to be so mean :x!

Ok here's my opinion. I hate the huge snake tattoos that bikers and the like get on their arms, but I like smaller, pretty tattoos. I want to get a small, black feathered wings tattoo on my back.

I'm NOT saying the rest of you have to hate huge snake tattoos, I'm saying that's my opinion and you don't have to agree with it, just don't flame me for having a different opinion to you!

I always wanted a huge tatoo of a winged demon on my back. But I like to change my appearance so often, that it seemed a dumb idea for me to get anything like that.

STFU! I can give my honest opinion if I want to!

You can do it without insulting everyone.... Maybe say "I don't like tattoos" instead of "tattoos are stupid". Think before you type.

I think the main problem here is what RedMage said came across as a statement rather than opinion. She probably just meant she thinks they're stupid.

I gots a rabbit tattoo on my leg.
I am Chinese zodiac year of the rabbit.
I also kinda identify with rabbits as an animal that resembles me
I also got the tattoo shortly after reading Watership Down (book about rabbits)
I got the tattoo for free because I used to be the nanny of a kid who's parents both gave tattoos. they were covered from head to toe and were always giving each other tattooos.
All of their friends had tattoos..so I sorta stood out as the tattoo-less odd ball.

i see the title of this thread and see it simply as a thread for people who actually HAVE tattoos to discuss them and show them off.
not as an invitation to everyone to give their negative opinions.

but then i stated this in red mage's thread about being "flamed" here.

to be honest, if that was flaming, it was rather pitiful(like striking matches at someone). but then i am old and i have been on the internet for a very long time and seen real flame wars.

Hi,

I have no idea how to pull pictures off of my hard drive and upload them.

Please help!

Explain it like you would to a three year old, I know a little bit about computers, but the first time I try something new it takes time and I have to go step by step.

Thanks for your help.

Eh...no offense or anything, but this thread is about tattoos. 8O

No offense taken, but read before answering. I wanted to show the tattoos that I got in Thailand that show my fight with the duality of my personality. Evil/Good. I had no idea how to post a picture. If you had taken the time it took to post your question you would have known. Everyone of my tatoos is very personal and represent a life changing event (like being in Baghdad and almost dieing several times from incoming rounds). So when people start hating on Tatoos and acting like like the only people who get them are stupid I am going to take offense. I know you did not, but you did question me over something like posting a picture of my Tat, which is WHAT THIS THREAD IS ABOUT. This is not like something I did on a whim. I was 37 yrs. old when I got my first Tatoo last year.
