And ya, Gromit, gimmie two seconds from being a dunce and I'll look up those words in a "very special" dictionary...honest as soon as I feel better.

Our specialist in wordologyisticks, Lau, has been missing on a couple of fronts and I do so hope is well. Amyone heard from him as of late?

Haven't heard anything and I tried logging into Eipsa, but that seems to have disappeared as well.

I have out an SOS.

AKA Lemon, on the hopes she has real contacts, if'n anyone else might, I'll take any blame for using them, if you would please use them or pass them on to me, thanks. The man prides himself in his machines not going down, let alone a need for updates, he is ill or not near, or my worse thoughts......

No stops here, anyone know anything, get it done!!

Go figure, I had his home phone, no answer, left a message and now i at least see his machine on (skype), but not active right now, but, on line. Love the f**k out of this guy and I always hate to think one of us will drop off the face of the earth, without a wimper from at least another whiner ;p

I hope he is OK and not like this poor fella.....

Tesla thought there was a remote chance he'd attend, at least on alternating occasions.

I am surprised at how well I can type with one wrist bandaged. I had ganglion cyst surgery last Tuesday, and can't wait to get this big thick bandage off my arm. I have also learned that pain killers make me depressed and irritable so I would rather tolerate the pain.

Richie's scientist party.

Dissecting the joke: Nikola Tesla was the father of A/C electricity; and in 1898 he patented the first remote-controlled device, an R/C boat.

:) I've been meaning to come back and lurk here for awhile but life won't stop happening. I am now a full-time college student working on a psychology/sociology major. I'm up to me neck in research papers, position papers, studying and exams.
It made me smile to see the cafe is being occupied again. I'll stop by again and if I forget maybe someone on Facebook can give me a swift kick and get me out of my sociology induced daze. Or maybe it's the adolescent daughter induced catatonia.

I loved the scientist's party.
Congratulations Hartzofspace.
I would be good to hear from our friends on the east coast. We just donated to the Salvation Army to help out a little. My brother an hour out of Philadelphia said he had no flooding this time. But, oh, those closer to the coast!

Lau also has a Facebook profile but I've only seen him on once a long while ago.

The adolescent daughter thingy is far worse than the 3x adolescent sons ever was. She turned 12 3 weeks ago and has already started wreaking havoc. I did think of you the weekend of her birthday slumber party. I had no idea what I was going to do while these 6 young ladies took over most of the main floor and then I remembered the times you used to post from your room while girls gathered at your house. I made sure they were all set and went and hid in my room for most of the evening. Back to another research paper I go.

I have Skype my computer too. I set it up and then promptly forgot about it. I even bought a headset that is still in the package.

mom - yes, get the food and drinks, say hi when they show up, cruise through ever hour or so to make sure they've not got anyone tied up and hanging off the balcony, and the party should be a success. otherwise, hide in the bedroom. it does get a bit easier the older they get. mine is going to be 26 (wow!) in january and she still has people over several times a year, but the overnighters are history (thankfully). now they are dinner parties or garden parties, where she is obsessed with having the place look perfect and the food be perfect and the table be artistically arranged. you only need to make it another dozen years or so....!
