Hello! My name is Matthew. I was diagnosed on the spectrum at a very young age and as such my youth and adolescence was spent in the company of people like me, in special education and groups and whatnot. I turned 30 in April. I have a very small social circle of neurotypical friends from church but only one friend with autism, so I joined to connect and meet more people like me, especially around my age.

I like message boards a lot because I like writing. I'm kinda introverted in real life and don't speak too much, but I can write a lot, especially about things I'm interested in. I'm not great with intros so I don't have a whole lot to introduce myself with, but I'm sure I'll be posting a lot around here. Nice to meet all of you. :D

Welcome to Wrong Planet. Most Aspies males (not all) are introverts and find it easier to communicate in writing rather than orally.
