Cool!
A few other things to know...
• The Haven is as close to 'sacred' ground as we get. People who post there are usually not looking for advice as much as they are looking for acknowledgement and sympathy. They are usually NOT looking for criticism either, even the "constructive" kind, unless they specifically ask for it.
• The Philosophy, Politics, and Religion (PP&R) subforum is given more leeway that the other sub-fora. Criticizing opinions is okay, but insulting the person who expresses those opinions is not.
• The Love and Dating subforum (L&D) is for discussions of relationships, not for expressions of misandry or misogyny; and while WP is not dedicated to match-making, some members have paired off successfully.
• The Women's Discussion subforum -- while not strictly for women only -- was established to give women a "safe space" for discussing issues unique to women. Men who post there should have something positive to contribute; otherwise, quiet lurking is the better option.
• The Moderator's Attention sub-forum is for just that stated purpose: to get the attention of a moderator to a problem. It is not for general discussions. The moderators receive an alert every time someone posts in that sub-forum.
• The 'Report' button in the lower-right corner of every post is for more discrete reporting of infractious posts.
• The software that runs this site is quirky at times.
• Do not feed the trolls!
