My daughter told me about this platform because she remembers me saying often. Am I on the wrong planet. I just don't fit into average society. So, today she said look up this platform and see if you can meet your own kind :lol:

welcome! I see you are from Illinois, I grew up there, lived in all areas of the state. Now moved to Michigan for retirement. Glad you are with us! One of the best things about discovering our autism is that we learn we are not alone. You most likely have found your tribe.

Welcome. Each of us now understand that our "issues" may be shared with others on the list. But we all can recognize also that our problems are not equally shared. I, for example, have no problems with loud noises. But I do look away when talking to others. Sometimes somebody will approach me and say "Hi Frank! How did you like the concert last night?" and I could swear I never ever met or knew this person. But the conversations and observations here always teach me that I am not alone in this world I inhabit.
