Hi, I am new to this site and am an older adult with Aspergers. My interests are reading historical novels, raising dogs from the shelter, and practicing yoga. I also work as a Special Education teacher for all disabilities. What are your interests?

Um...I don't think I can give a complete list of my interests. If you look around our house, however, you will see a lot of videos (DVDs, etc.—often science fiction and/or strange), CDs (within limited music genres), books (many not yet read), magazines (many not yet read), and old records (I don't mean vinyl albums, I mean financial, tax, genealogical, etc., records). And some of my WP posts reflect that I like to play with BBCode.

IamLucy2, welcome to the site.

You asked what are my interest. I have many, many interest. I have Asperger's Syndrome and my mind works very differently than NTs. I become interested in a subject and I research it to death. I become a subject matter expert. Two years ago, I suffered a massive stroke. It was a life ender experience. But instead of panic, my mind came back online and I have been very busy learning everything about stroke recovery and what actually takes place within the brain during a stroke, and the reason why I have some immunity to the destruction that most people experience from such a severe stroke.
