Hi, I'm new to Wrong Planet.

I was diagnosed with ASD (Level 1) almost a year ago, in April 2022. At the time, I didn't see the point in telling many people or joining a community since nothing about me had changed (except finally having a label for what's been wrong with me all this time)--but in the past year, I've learned more about how my brain works and how to work with my strengths and weaknesses instead of always struggling against them. At this point, I think being able to talk to other people like me and share experiences could be helpful. So here I am!

I like dinosaurs, mystery stories, sci-fi/sci-fantasy, musicals, rainy weather, and writing.

I look forward to chatting with y'all.

(By the way, I'm so glad this place exists! I don't like most social media, but this forum reminds me of similar forums I used to post on in the 90s/00s and has a lovely nostalgic quality.)

I know what you mean about social media. I much prefer a good old fashioned forum. When I go on social media I can almost feel the algorithms poking away to make me angry and scared. It just doesn't feel like a safe environment for me.

Hello! I love musicals too, and sci-fi/fantasy. Star Wars is one of my favorite movie series, and I also love Lord of the Rings.
