Yeah sometimes it gets to me too. Especially when it comes to losing focus, and putting things down and leaving them.
But I've known my whole life. And in retrospect, I'm glad I have AS. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Thief, you CAN make friends! You can be MY friend! PM me if you want, and we can talk and get to know each other. I sound rather blunt and some people here may think I'm rushing in, but that's what this board is for so what are we waiting for?

Was diagnosed maybe about a year ago, I'm 17 now. It was really tough going through my whole life not knowing why I could never make friends.
Now I know, things are better. but sometimes, like tonight, it still gets on top of me.
So hello...
I was diagnosed about one year ago also with AS. I feel like it "gets on top of me" too sometimes. But most of the time I can live with it (literally).
I felt the same, having no reason why I could not make friends was destroying every ounce of my self esteem. I once walked up to a popular girl at primary school and literally asked her "How do you be cool".
But anyway...welcome to WP
