The "Oh, so that's who you are" post. This is being done slightly ex post facto.
I'm Adam. I was diagnosed with AS when I was 8(?). I blame it for some of my problems, but it's why I'm such an amazing person. I really don't have some long story that warrants a violin piece, but you can play the Bach Chaconne if you like. I go to a Music Conservatory as a Composer (although this will hopefully change soon). I'm obsessed with music, esp. that of J.S. Bach. Glenn Gould is my Autistic Hero-in-Residence. My goal is to compose opera that is actually of quality and good for the voice, instead of the crap that is either not singable or uninteresting because it doesn't even scratch the surface of what the voice can do. I also hope to build some kind of AS commune/safe zone where judgement is withheld when people are sitting in corners doing random stims/playing with fidget toys and trip toys (I'm going to need a lot of corners here). More details about that later. My other interests include ethics, meta-ethics, philosophy, meta-physics (primarily epistemology), Wagnerian Literature (which can be considered separate from his music), linguistics, and collecting random and seemingly useless facts in the hopes of becoming like Det. Goren on Law & Order: CI (i.e. know everything about everything).
