Just wanted to say Hello!

A little history about what brought me here: I have 8 year old twins (a boy & girl) and my son was tested for Autism when he was 4 yrs old, but due to it being mild they didn't offically label him. Well over the past 4 yrs he's been in OT for his delays where they discovered he has Sensory disorders and now I'm almost 100% sure he has Asperger's Syndrome. I'm surprised the doctors missed all the signs after reading so much on this lately and also talking to his OT about his progress and areas of struggle. I really hope to learn much more here and to also have him re-tested so that we can get him help with all of his social issues.

I was diagnosed at 3 and 1/2 with Developmental Delay. Later I was diagnosed with AS in middle school.

I'm Jessica. I was diagnosed at around 12. but my parents had me being tested since around 1st grade.

I agree, this place is pretty good. It was a useful resource for me when I was first diagnosed with AS [age 15] and still is for me now.
