thank you for the welcome.
there certainly is alot of ASD in the family.
i do get alot of people looking down at me as they think if you had one child with ASD why have more.
Or As you have a husband with AS why have kids. knowing it may be hereditary.

the truth is.
I was 6 months pregnant with 3rd son when my eldest was diagnosed with ASD
A week after my 3rd son was born my second son was diagnosed with ASD
My 3rd son then developed AS with fine motor skills difficulties
During this time it became apparant my husband had AS.
My husband said he always knew he was different.

As for me. My dyspraxia was diagnosed when I was a baby. At that time. My mother was told. I was a "backward child" and would never accomplish anything.
the doctors were wrong.

Does anyone know whether Dyspraxia is classed as being on the spectrum?
Some professional have said yes and some no to me.
I know some people with AS have dyspraxia too. But dyspraxia on its own. I cant seem to find out.

thank you again for saying hello.
im going to try and have a good look around the site. it is big .i have to look when i can get near the computer. Which is that often as my sons are always on the internet.

Dyspraxia and AS can certainly be together in the same person, but one is not a part of the other.
Man, I would be tired too. Oh wait, I WAS tired too.

Hi tiredlady welcome your truly not alone, my family is as wonderfully as diverse and differently able as yours, the only problem I also have is the ignorance of others
