I've just been logged out twice the last few minutes. The first time I logged on via the forum generated login page, the second time I used the field on the top right of the page.
Clearing the cache and cookies didn't seem to help.

No, not usually, but I got it just now when I went from one topic to another part of the forum via the "jump to" option, but it disappeared when I left.

In my case I'm finding that clearing the cache and cookies doesn't help, and yes to clicking the "stay logged in" box but that doesn't help either. It's all a bit odd.

I've been getting randomly logged out lately. I use Firefox.

I never use the page that comes up saying you're not logged in, please log in, because it has never worked for me on the new site....

I get the &sid=[number-letter-string] sometimes....I dont usually pay attention, so I don't know how often. I have it now as I type, though.

It happens to me quite frequently. I don't initially bother logging into WP but if I see a post I want to reply to I log in, but then when I submit the post I'm often asked to log in again.

This problem is getting worse not better. It is erasing posts now, and backtabbing does not always work now.

Months went by when I wasn't forcibly logged out at all. Now it's been particularly bad for me over the past 5 days or so and this continues today. I get logged out multiple times during the day. This is the worst it has been. Clearing the cache has not remedied this for me either.

I have Chrome on Windows 10.

So did I. I do always tick the "stay logged in box". Is that box defaulting back perhaps, could that be the reason for this glitch or not?

Are you guys sure you are logged out for real? Last week or so, I received a new topic reply notification, and clicked on it. It took me to the sign in page, and I couldn't be bothered to do that, so I just closed the page and went elsewhere online, without signing in. Before I logged off the PC I decided to pop by WP and found that I was indeed logged on.
That has happened twice this September. New tab, and logged in I am. I have no idea why it happens, but I find it strange.
