Another update: you will probably have seen that magz has joined the mod team :D

Right now she’s the only one, but I hope we’ll be getting a few more in the near future. Alex is taking the process very seriously, so hopefully will be appointing candidates we can all feel comfortable with.

They probably are looking at the selected ones it just takes time. It's probably quite the process vetting them one at a time.

I think it might be more effective if moderator /administrator warnings were politely led into, for example: "I would like to bring to your attention that with this specific post on this particular thread you broke this rule by doing a, b and c. I hope this is clear and I will be happy to clarify matters further if necessary."

I would be upset if anyone talked down to me like that.

Hmm; It's worth Noting
That 'Blunt' Doesn't Always
Provide A Whole Lot of Explanation;
And Is Characteristic of the Spectrum, Indeed;
In this way as noted before; it might indeed
Be Helpful to have
A 'Neurotypical';
More Specifically,
A Person Not on the
Autism Spectrum on
The Moderator Team;
Hmm; Wonder Who That Could Be?..;)

i received a warning once from a Moderator
of 'Don't Break The Internet'; i did my Best
to Find Out How i was doing that as it was still working fine to me...

Really, though; Neurodiversity Does Work Both Ways for Balance in All Aspects of Life.

Otherwise; Some folks on the Spectrum May Not Realize that there are more than "STEM Majors"
on the Spectrum; Indeed, Being Very Creative And Artistic Sets One Apart 'From the Crowd' too;
By Very
Reality
of the
Term Original
Creativity; as
Original Creativity
Never Has a Pre-formed
Target Audience; that always come after,
most logically too; and true; Now, Just Dropping
by, Currently Putting together a Weekly Free Verse
Novel Size Poem around 40,000 words a Week; God Yes,
My Norm; My Average; Does This make me Strange, Yes,
Extremely Strange; Do i Break the Internet; Not exactly
but Before i started Reducing the Size of
my Weekly 300-400 Photo Illustrations;
Then, i often Crashed the Word Press
Reader; even on my New
Smart Phone; not quite
Ready for all of me then;
Does this make
me a 'Bad
Boy';
maybe
so too;
But i play
By the rules
Well enough
not to get into any Real Trouble;
What i do do is respect all others;
that gets one through it all in most cases...
How Do i Do that; Just Look At A Hurricane;
Not Just the Winds; But What is in Balance in the
Center; the Zen, Tao, Satori, Nirvana, Prana, Chi Eye;
Already All Done with the Kundalini Rising Part forever NoW iN HeAVeN.

In Reality, A Hurricane
Eye is King and Queen
Of All Winds Continuing to Spiral
without Running Out of Center Balance;

Indeed, an
ULTiMaTE
Moderator,
'This Hurricane Eye';
Yet Only Effortlessly 'Concerned'
With Winds it Generates Now of Course..:)

Again, Just Dropping by, i am a Global Hurricane; hehe; indeed..;)

Not Exactly A
Category but
Considering
i am born on
6.6.60; Cat-6 Seems
Appropriate; and really
i took the Moderator's
Warning as 'Complement';
Always Making Lemons Sweet..;)

You think this is talking down to someone? That's interesting. :D This sounds superior to you?
Maybe I am not taking into account that you know each other so well and you would not be so formal, I could see that.

Why is it that so many people haven't a clue what they have done wrong? How would you deal with them Fnordy? Dude, you did wrong? :D

Okay, maybe scrap the "I would like to bring to your attention" bit, it is a bit OTT in retrospect. :wink:

If, when I am teaching, someone makes a mistake, and I would say "don't say that you are wrong!" They would be frustrated, insecure and not know what part of the answer was incorrect, was it my pronunciation, context, grammar what was wrong??????? If I specify what specifically was wrong, then the "offender" can have the chance to understand it, internalize it, rectify or modify it, and avoid repeating the same mistake in the future . That would be a corrective process in the cases of misunderstandings, and sometimes the moderator could even retract the warning after clarification, if they were sufficiently unbiased. One way of viewing it, not the only one of course :)

The Redhead is in the Administrator's doghouse Kraftie, in trouble again for not shutting up. :D

I am sure, I know that must be so, and we must all support you, all of you, in your efforts to bring reform, fairness and efficiency. The mods need a breath of fresh air, they must be worn out by now.
