Excellent, good result.

The only difference between a temporary ban and a permanent ban is that the temporary ban has an expiry date.
We either give this in advance or it can be displayed when they try to log on (although I think that display might be a one-off, shown at the first attempted login).

It's a very old thread and unlikely to attract new posts I would've thought - but there is no record of someone posting there and then deleting their post.

How do you know someone had posted - through a thread update alert?
The username of the poster should be included if so, and that may provide further clues.

It is listed in the index as having been replied to today at 5:55 am by a member named "Greenwoman Greycat".

It's in the first page. I didn't go digging for old threads. There's a poster's name and time, which is today, in the "General Autism Discussion" list page. However, that post is not present when you open the thread.

Ooh, that's some seriously messed up data.
One post made, can be read through "Search user's posts" - but clicking on it jumps to the thread and shows no post was made ...

I think that, to preserve integrity and prevent attempted posts there creating an even bigger mess, I'll remove the thread.
