Wouldn't it be lice to delete your own posts if you had accidentally made more than one post and not have to wait until the admin(s) or mods to do that for you.

Also, it would be convienient if the forums had a member search list.

I thought you could. Should be an 'X' in the top right of your posts, and your posts alone. But you only have a limited time to do so, I think a few days....

I thought you could only delete the last post you made, either that or you only have a few minutes (not days) to delete posts.

You can delete your own posts (provided that no one has replied after you), but only in certain boards. If you look at the bottom, there's a little list of what you can and cannot do.
This board says that you can delete your own posts, as does Members Only, General Autism, Getting to Know Each Other, News and Current Events, Off the Wall, Parents Discussion, Love and Dating, Friendship, School, Work, Art, Television, Computers, Games, PPR, Adult, Women, In-Depth, Adolescent, Kids', Stats, and Español, Nederlands, Deutsch, Français.
Posts in random and the Haven cannot be deleted.

I'm not talking about the first post of any thread I start, I'm talking about the replies I make in any thread.
