My permanent job is dusk till about 10pm... i like this time as i can surf all day... and i dont really miss out on anything while im working as i wouldnt go out anyway...

However i have the occasional job were i will start labouring at 6 in the morning till 3 in the afternoon... when i was labouring for a landscaper i would wake up at 5:30 and head off and i really enjoyed it... but when i was labouring for some bricklayers i would wake up at 6ish and feel like absolute sh!t... not so much the tiredness but how much i hated the job...

I guess late afternoon - night works best for me as a summary

Night.

I wonder why so many of us operate that way.

Night, when everyone is asleep.

Typically night is better for me. As long as I've had a few hours to wake up I'm good. Usually my sleeping shifts by two hours each night and eventually resets.

I have to work at night because our house has 5 people in three dogs in it until about 10pm where I can study without interruption.

I am flexible though, I used to do good work in the morning and afternoon and still can if it isn't a mad house.

I'm definitely a night person, I can't really get my head round doing anything productive in the morning.

I prefer the night personally, the lack of distractions and semilucid atmosphere benefit my creativity in general. Unfortunately I must go to school at five A.m. and me perfectionist streak and lack of sleep tend not to mix well. I work on homework better after twilight for the most part.

Depends what I'm doing - on the PC my most productive hours are typically 10pm-2am, or were at least.
In real life, probably more like 10am-2pm!
