I heard OU has an excellent meteorology program. I forgot whether it was OU or Texas Tech, but I heard one of them has a meteorology lab where they shoot 2x4's out of a cannon to measure potential tornado damage.

Started at El Paso Community College

went on to:

Some college in Lawton, Oklahoma (one semester)

University of Alaska at Fairbanks (loads of credits, but for some reason they don't piece together to make anything :? )

Currently:

College of the Redwoods, Eureka campus.

Some days I don't know why I bother anymore. I understand the stuff, I just can't retain things or follow through on assignments.
I do get tired of flunking classes, no matter how much fun they were.

You went to school in Lawton? I am currently attending a school just across the state line in Wichita Falls.

My wife was in the Army (I was too for about 11months 2 weeks and 2 days  but that was before her time) and we got stationed at Ft. Sill.

Humidity and Ticks! That's mainly what I remember about that place!

We drove all over the place checking out different towns, Indian PowWows, good places to eat.
We also got down your way, and all the way down to Dallas once.

I also went to a Horseshoeing school near Ardmore.

I don't miss that area much other than the events and food. :D

I'm at the University of Denver.

I came here because of the awesome computer program. They offer a course in "computer game design", which is basically a major in Computer Science but also with a double major in Art (for a BA) or a minor in Mathematics (for a BS). It all sounded very impressive and I'm excited to be a part of it.

University of Hawaii, halfway through Master's in community and public health nursing.
Which is what I should be doing right now, as a matter of fact.
It's mostly online which is great. I have one live class a month.

If you follow college football, you might have heard that the Warriors have been banned from performing their pre-game "dance" while the other team is on the field. I guess it ain't a hula.

I graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. But I wish I hadn't bothered getting a degree.

I go to Harrisburg Area Community College. It's a college that's in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania is in the United States of America. The United States of America is on the planet Earth. Earth is the 3rd planet from the Sun at a distance of about 150 million kilometers.

I almost went there! Though for their International Relations program... which doesn't seem too common for Aspies.

It's great University, though expensive.

What was your major? My mother graduated from CMU in engineering. She's had an awesome career and has designed everything from bridges, to schools, to casinos, and even designs theme park rides (previously for Japan, and she's done a couple in America).

Youngstown State University. It's actually a really good school, it's just cheap because Youngstown is notorious for rampant crime and gang wars. Their music department is excellent.

Cheap  I left YSU because I had to pay $1,200 out of pocket each semester. I currently go to a tier 1 university that is only half the cost of YSU and is nationally recognized for being the best in many of its fields (As for why I'm not posting it, I feel it would identify me too much)

And the college itself is known for having very little crime. I think because of all the campus cops/Parking Service workers who trudge around the parking lots writing tickets for any cars without a pass.

But yeah when I went I had to at least cross Albert St to get back to Hubbard. I was nervous about that at first, but nothing ever happened. THough I did once drive past what looked like a swat team raiding house - I don't understand why they wouldn't close the street for that. Sure that might tip off the person being arrested but it would keep people like me from driving by and getting killed by stray bullets if the person decided to fight.

I'm at CMU just about every weekend. ITs way to expensive for me to ever attend though. But I've found that I'm labelled a sophmore there, most likely because I started hanging out on campus last year and you could say that I've joined the KGB. I can't wait to see this year's yearbook because as much as I've had cameraman at events tell me I'm a sophomore, I expect to see myself in it, labeled as a student.
I even had a professor mistake me for a student that took his classes when I was in the cluster (since I was signed into a computer at the time I decided it was best not to correct his mistake).

Dang, you know we might have even hung out with each other at times albeit briefly. I even seem to remember being introduced to a Cooper at the KGB's game thing last weekend though I can't say that actually did happen.

University of Massachusetts--Dartmouth

Aside from me, the other interesting fact is that the archetecture can make a grown man sick. It was designed during the period in the early 1960's when "Brutalism" was all the rage, and people thought it would be neat to have buildings look like big jagged cinder blocks. 40 years later we have a cold concrete slab, that's thoroughly confusing to look at, never mind find your class.

It's my last semester though. It's a pretty good school, most of the teachers are good, and the curriculum is terrific. The people that work in the administration departments though...
