But Wiccans don't make deals with the devil and transform into cats. That is what Christians were calling witchcraft. That is what they were accusing people of. That is NOT witchcraft.

But Christians would also call pretty much everything that you and I would consider to be witchcraft. . . well, witchcraft.
It may be ammusing and depressing that a large segment of the population consiers these practices to to inseperable from demon worship, but then, many things are. . . and the vast majority of religous beliefs out there have something implicily kooky about them, always having the potential to be turned around and made harmful. . .
