I'm finding it very had to focus on my school work and instead spend my time playing and thinking about minecraft (I got it for christmas). Does anyone else find focusing on school extremely difficult and if so are there any techniques you use that I may also adopt to ensure that I get good grades. Thank you :)

I'm afraid that I don't have anything useful to offer, as I share the same difficulty but at University.

I would like to see other replies too, because I really need to start working!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I have ADD and want to figure out how to get work done in a timely fashion, without drugs.

As a matter of fact, I'm supposed to be working on a paper that's due in two days - obviously I'm not working on my paper. This is not a good trait to have in graduate school.

Hell, I thought I was just weird. ;-)

i can (obviously) come off as really abrupt and my tone can sound sharpish, so feel free to ask me to clarify

i have the same problem, I have such a hard time getting things done. I usually have to set aside days (ie my weekend) to get things done.

I find that If I don't like something I don't do it...I'm very stubborn but I just need some ways of forcing myself to work

Yes, focusing on schoolwork is hard for me. You know, there's a reason why I take ADHD meds.
