Can you be a Financial analyst with an associates?

I highly doubt it. You'd have to show yourself to be REALLY good during the interview--like seeming like you're the ALL TIME BEST. I'd go for the Full Monty (MBA).

You might be able to do some basic accounting work or clerical financial work with an associate's degree, but, no, you will not be able to work as a financial analyst at a standard bank. If you are looking at investment banking or top level jobs in commercial banks, you will need a Bachelor's degree with top marks from a top undergraduate institution or a Master' degree.

I can't even get one with a Bachelor's, so probably not.

I (and many others) couldn't even get a basic teller job at a bank and the pay is CRAP, almost as bad as retail just cleaner and with better hours. You pretty much need a Masters to be considered and even then I wouldn't count on it without an internship or already working in the financial sector.
