My mum thinks I try too hard at school

I am still in high school. I remember in primary school I didnt try to hard,not to brag, but I already did better than most without trying. Then in high school i got competitive and started getting near perfect grades. Now at that awkward emotional stage I cry a lot, and mum thinks its because of schoolwork, even though I have always loved to learn.has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, my mom says the same thing. I make myself crazy over my schoolwork sometimes.
