Well-put. They're grunge. Similar to Alice in Chains and Stone Temple Pilots. All three of which are amazing bands, imo.

Nightwish all the way. I seriously wish that some of their earlier albums would start to be sold in the U.S...

I like White Zombie. A hard rock band thats not neccicarily "metal" that I like is Nazareth.

i'm sorry but most of these don't seeem to be metal bands, eitherway, my fav ones are:
the berzerker (fav song is Cannibal rights)
through the eyes of the dead (failure in the flesh)
children of bodom (next in line)
cannibal corpse (make them suffer
cradle of filth(mannequin) and finally hate breed(perserverence) - (REST ASURE THESE ARE VERY VERY VERY HEAVY BANDS, APART FROM CRADLE OF FILTH, who are slow, and have a funny voice, like hes a chain smoker)
ROCK ON YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
