Why do you love cats?

I have two cats of my own, and I love them. They help calm me down when I'm nervous or stressed. Why do you love cats? Tell me down in the comments.

I love cats because:

1. My cats were a source of comfort and joy
2. They are fun to watch
3. They are beautiful to look at
4. What do I love about cats? In a word, everything. I wish everyone would think of cats, and animals, in that way.

They're quiet, yet playful; affectionate, yet aloof; they can be trained to use a litter box; they don't bite the postal delivery person; and their presence tends to drive away mice.

They're beautiful, graceful, playful, affectionate without being overwhelming, curious about the world, fiercely independent, intelligent, mischevious, mysterious, clean, funny, they don't submit and only give their love and loyalty to those who earn it :heart:
