Im proud of being an aspie.

im smart, intelligent and i think differently than other people.

I would say, having a greater inherent ability to think independent of others.

I go through moods where being an aspie feels like a burdensome curse.

If my attention to detail and intense interest and focus on writing is attributable to autism, then I guess it's something to be proud of.

I'm not sure whether my IQ is directly attributable to my Autism, but I'm certainly happy not to have the same neurology as a shallow, inane, cliquish sheep NT.

I love having obsessions, and... being smart, a strong sense of individuality, being able to do think rationally without having emotions dominate my actions, being able to rely on myself emotionally.

As far as I'm concerned, none.

I don't feel pride (nor shame) for my AS.

I'm not the cause of it, in any way, I haven't chosen to have it and I haven't asked for it.

What should I be proud (or ashamed) of?

Pride and shame are not things I can understand.

BTW, I think I could say I am glad to be the person I am, but this is regardless of my autism.

I still wish I didn't have it though
