Why is 127 sad? That’s really smart! The reason everybody on this thread has an IQ over 150 is:
A. They’re lying
Or
B. Only geniuses want to share their IQ.

Average is 100.

well that is sad indeed. it most likely means that you were entering the process of dementia when you were only 10 years old (considering an IQ of 800).

work it out. if you can't, i will tell you why i said that.

well i will explain.

if, at the age of 10 years old , you had a mental age of 80 years old, then you had an IQ of 800.

that's where the whole scoring system comes apart.

whatever. cheap humor.

Sorry for necroposting.

I think it is pretty much A. I doubt anyone on the forums scored higher than 150.

I find it hard to believe that 13% of the forum's population has an IQ only held by around .1% of the general population.

I did the WAIS IV test with a psychologist two years ago and scored

Verbal reasoning 138
Perceptual reasoning 121
Processing speed 120
Working memory 115

Having the right frame of mind can make a difference . I've tended to be a lazy thinker, without much mental stamina . I made an effort to buck that trend . I had a 2nd go at Dr Greg Grove’s( he’s an educational consultant) ‘Uncommon common’ test . I made an effort to think longer and harder about the questions than I normally would .

A 6 points improvement . 1.6(27% of that) could be attributed to the ‘practice effect’ .

Verbal IQ: 141
Perceptual reasoning, working memory, and processing speed all in the low 80's.
It averages out to 100. But If I said my IQ was 100 it would not tell the whole story. My psychologist said that I have an "extremely rare profile", except among people on the spectrum.
I was a straight A student all through school and college except for math, art, gym, and physics. I barely passed those with a C.

I was given several test's.That is when it was discovered I have autism +dd and my IQ was about 75.I was very verbal as a child and could do several things but in school could not spell very well they said that my incontinence was probably related to my low score on IQ test.

I once scored a 131 on an IQ test as an adolescent.

However, my full-scale IQ as an adult has consistently been around 115. About 120 verbal, and 105 performance (Weschler's)

As is typical with such threads there tends to be a knee-jerk dismissal of any test not administered by a psychologist/psychometrician. Of course there are very dodgy online IQ tests, but not all non proctored/online tests are like that.
