Ab + is better than a universal donor, ab+ is a universal recipient. I can accept o, a, b and ab blood. Nice in an emergency!

Your blood type stays consistent throughout your life, but I am sure there are odd cases out there where it may have changed. I don't think that things like that are impossible, just improbable.

As a negative blood type, I had to get shots during my pregnancies and after each of my kids that was born with a positive blood type. If you do not do this, then your body can build a resistance to the positive RH factor and will try to reject any positive blood type babies.
