What is the meaning behind your custom rank (if you have one)?

My custom rank (and avatar, location, and signature) are all from the Woody Woodpecker cartoon "Ski for Two", my personal favorite.

my username "aunt blabby" was one of johnny carson's stock characters in "the mighty carson art players," as an old grandmotherly type in drag, cribbed off an old jonathan winters routine. my avatar is actor art carney dressed up as a dissipated old department store santa named henry corwin, from an old twilight zone episode "night of the meek," about a guy who finds redemption at the end. my custom rank is a line from the old flanders and swan comedy routine "the reluctant cannibal." my location is from the old xmas cartoon with burl ives voicing santa in it, who rescues unloved toys from the island of unwanted toys. i put that in there because i'd want somebody to rescue me from the island of the unwanted. but as i grew older i discovered that I myself wanted to rescue the other unwanted toy humans from that island, as well as myself. just a thought.

by going over a thousand posts, then the option will open up for you in your user control panel [which you'll see when you click on the "EDIT PROFILE" link on your personal page].

gee, that sounds more like a custom signature line [a pithy phrase below a post-window-width line demarking the boundary between the body of your post and your custom signature]. maybe for your custom rank you might choose something like "Abstract Concept Understander" or something similar. just a thought.

In computer science, programmers use Metasyntactic Variables to describe a placeholder name or an alias term commonly used to denote the subject matter under discussion or an arbitrary member of a class of things under discussion. The use of a Metasyntactic Variable is helpful in freeing a programmer from creating a logically named variable, which is often useful when creating or teaching examples of an algorithm. The word "foo" is the principal example.

The word "Fnord" is another.

You have to get at least 1000 posts first, then you can make a custom rank.
