Piano, flute, bass guitar, and saxophone. I don't play the saxophone anymore, and I want my bass guitar back.

Scientific explaination you say? Well, for me, I sometimes play the piano when I feel the need to stim. Playing the piano, or pretending to play one on a flat surface is actually one of my stims.

I am a Flautist, picked it up in 6th grade.
I enjoy playing by ear on the flute, it is quite soothing.

Me. However, my Dad almost certainly has Asperger's as well, and he can't carry a tune to save his life. He is a physicist.

I am a musician and am studying music performance at uni and I still have trouble working out what the change is from buying something or adding up the numbers on playing cards!

I guess it varies a lot and there isn't really a strict rule, but I wonder if the majority fall into a certain area?

Contrabass french horn..... who has the time and creativity to make such things? I can play trumpet okay when I need to. I started on French Horn a little more than three years ago, and have been practicing like crazy ever since. I added in trombone four or five months past, and am playing at a level almost as good as my horn playing. Everyone who I asked said it was impossible to play both. I have developed two seperate embochures so it's no problem for me anymore.......I proved my horn teacher, band teacher, orchestra teacher, parents, and brother wrong.

Taught myself descant recorder at 7, piano at about 14, and acoustic guitar on a rainy bank holiday Monday a couple of years back. Now I'm learning violin. I've been singing for as long as I can remember. I guess music just speaks to us. (:

Yes I can play the piano but I really don't practice much anymore. I gave up musicianship quite a while ago to take up musical composition.

Percussion, trumpet, and does music production count? I produce music using a program called Fruity Loops. It's not a traditional instrument but I feel like ti should count though. It's a musical form of expression and it's taken me just as long to learn as my other instruments.
