What is everyone's blood type? I'm curious about blood type distribution. I used to be a blood donor so I know what mine is, O-.

I just bumped another Blood Type thread (it's a cool subject). Do you see your post show up in there? Because I can't read back my own post, and only could read yours by searching your user posts.

Have AB negative. The rarest! Only 0.6 % (6 in 1,000). AB negative is not universal receiver.

I'm AB+. I think my grandma is AB+ too.

I'm A (heterozygous) positive.

Mine, O-positive, is the Universal Donor, and is the most common blood type.

O+, close to universal giver.

Bloody.

My blood type is B+

Here's a list of blood type incidence from most common to rare, rankings based on world population:
O+ 37%
A+ 34%
B+ 10%
O- 6%
A- 6%
AB+ 4%
B- 2%
AB- 1%

I have seen other estimates which vary slightly eg 8% for B+ rather than 10%, so the estimates aren't set in stone, all allow for a degree of error.

I've never been told! How did everyone get to find out? I've had blood tests done, once to look for rheumatoid arthritis and twice a general health check, but nobody ever mentioned what my blood type is.

I haven't been a donor because I don't meet the height and weight requirements.
