How can one find his post rank? I don't think the "Browse Users" feature is still active.

1. Click on "My Account" at the top of the page.
2. Click on "Usergroups" (one of the options on the left).
3. Click on "Registered users".
4. Select "Post count" and "Descending" from the drop-down menus under the list, and click submit. Then find your name on the list.

Thanks! I'm #11. At one time I was #3.

my post rank here is obviously low (around #6000) and changing rapidly, but then i got curious to check how high it would have been on another large site where i've been active for years (between #10 and #20). but then again... that's only if i consider all my posts together (i asked for my original account to be removed a few years ago), and also ignore the fact that accounts that get deleted are usually among the most active ones, and it's not a rare thing

in conclusion, i have no idea what my post rank would have been if those numbers were more realistic . maybe #30? maybe #300? i don't know

It'd be interesting to see how many of the posts of the people really high up are something other than really short posts in things such as 'count by x's' or such. People who do this really annoy me, posting a lot of short posts just to boost their post count. I believe it's called postwhoring.

And how do you know that the people do it just to boost their post count?

Sure it is, I have used it recently.

I very much doubt they are posting on them because they particularly enjoy only them threads. Most just do it for easy posts.

Well, you have no proof.

It's pretty easy to infer.

You can't simply infer negative things about people without proof. Maybe they're just doing it because they find it fun. I belong to another forum where posts in the Arcade section don't count for your post count, and you know what? People still post in the counting threads.

It's up to them what they do, but one does wonder why they post on 20 or more counting threads and hardly anything else. I can infer what I want about it.
