I failed every single job interview in the last 7 years

Of course there is something wrong with me!
And pursuing my STEM degree in my 20s was an utter waste of time!

Job interviews are notoriously difficult for autistic folk to get through and sometimes this can be a permanent barrier to employment for people who would otherwise be competent in the jobs they apply for and are rejected for.

It can be worth looking for roles that are being filled through something other than a conventional job interview. I've always struggled with interviews, but have had more luck with other routes, e.g. roles through recruitment agencies, roles using a recruitment centre approach (instead of just an interview), or (once in an organisation) people finding roles for me based on my skills (as they've had a chance to see them at that stage).

Why do you think this is?

There are a few companies that specialize in finding jobs for autistic people, such as Specialisterne and Meticulon.

I also do find even recruitment agencies nowadays are so inundated with applicants, they use interviews to sift out the weak ones (probs the less communicative, shy, lack of interpersonal skills), can speak from experience having gone through one recently where multiple candidates are sought after. Got lucky with a minimum wage job in 4 yrs being unemployed, also hit lucky again hopping to an easier role in another company but the luck seems to have run out now and used up but all my savings from the few years I was working. One hand i have experience, but the other i've proven I can't cope in alot of environments.

Researching on how to land a win win interview and then practice. Have you also thought about asking the employers for the questions ahead of time do you can practice.

Also, interviewers like it when you research their company and organization so that you can ask them questions related to the job.

I have read that questions like: "What would you do if you were not working her?'

A. I would be applying for this position, pulling my portfolio together, and learning everything I could about your company.

B. Why do you want to work for us/why should we hire you?

"I have experience doing X and I have a lot of expertise in this

Also I have heard that having a work portfolio from college can help because you don't want to sell yourself, rathrr, you want to sell your work.
