Thanks that was a good article and I like the final conclusion. Using Wozniak's time at HP as an example. Kind of a mix of the two extremes with enough room to chat but also a private work station.

Or especially enough room so that you're not just one large group, but an environment where many small groups assemble on their own.



Also "Group Think" makes me think of this scene from Brazil. It kind of illustates the weird idea that feverish group brainstorming chaos can somehow find solutions.

What bothers me more than anything is that the "who you know matters more than what you know" job market is designed SPECIFICALLY to exclude introverts in favor of extroverts. So now this article is telling me that even if introverts are able to get hired, they're still going to suffer? :(
