Aggressiveness about job situation!

I asked my councilor yesterday why my brother got aggressive to me when i was in period of my life when i did not have a job and he said "well its like if one person has an ice cream and the other does not"

Can you explain in more depth what he meant? I tried to ask my councilor by phone today what he meant but i cannot get a hold of him lol

My job will be over in a week and i can expect more agression from my brother then

He means that your brother probably sees your mental health break as a vacation (like an ice cream cone). Your brother is still working, so he doesn't get a "vacation" (ice cream), therefore, he's jealous.

Why are you taking a mental health break?

It means your brother was envious of you--without understanding you.

He just felt like you were getting a free ride.

My brother used to feel that way about me.
