Applied to local bird job

I actually saw posted a local bird job out of a local University (the University of Toledo) and I applied but I have a feeling that it's not appropriate because of physical work. But I asked is there anything I can do since I'm in the area... Good idea?

It could work if you feel you're up to any physical requirements that may be needed. It seems to be your field of interest so give it a go!

There are citizen science projects for bird research that you can also join. Like NestWatch and FeederWatch. I think you sign up online and then they mail you instructions for how to participate from your own backyard.
