I'll start: I made it through a busy, sensory-stimulating event at the gym where I work and didn't get overwhelmed. I was still able to keep up.

Awesome!

I updated my resume and sent a couple applications today. I’ve been at the same job for four years (the longest I’ve been anywhere) and am getting burned out.

Cold calls

Door to door

Cash register

"Helping people eat"

Taxes

Not many "accomplishments" . That's the closest

All the jobs I had were barely minimum wage

Any old idiot could do them

I was unemployed (except for like 6 months here and there) from 2005-2014. Things probably would've been much better for me if I'd done those jobs.

AccuWeather secretary/receptionist - 2 years
Secretary/receptionist at physics department - 1 year
Online marketing - 3+ years

****Currently learning how to proofread/edit/blog so I can stay at home and take care of my kids****

I envy people who love their jobs and can do the same thing for 40 years!! !! However, having this many disparate jobs required me to acquire a range of abilities and breadth of knowledge that gives me a bit of confidence--I know I can do whatever is necessary to survive on my own.

Juggling kids and work, though, is a whole different ball game...

Dish washing at IHOP~ 10 months
Floor cleaning at WalMart~ 25 months
Custodian at a sporting goods store~ 3 months

I have a lot of physical & mental disabilities limiting me with finding employment & I haven't looked since I got together with my current girlfriend 7 years ago. I relocated to be with her & had a lot of adjusting to do. Plus she kinda likes & needs me around a lot cuz of her issues. I really need to get a part time job thou where I can keep my benefits. I was on SSI before I started working & it switched to Social Security Disability after I quit. I also have Medicare & Medicaid. We really could use some extra money coming in thou cuz we have a lot of debt. We're trying to get a new apartment & are on waiting lists for different places so my job search will have to wait.
